DESCRIPTION:

The Carapiá is an herb from Brazil, which grows in open fields, its rhizome is of aromatic and bitter taste.

NOTE:

The root is indicated for stomachic, antidiarrheal, diuretic. Its roots are used for gastritis, diarrhea, dysentery, urinary infections, uterine problems, menstrual cramps, skin diseases and fever.

HOWTO:

Put 2 tablespoons to a quart of water.
Cook for 3 to 4 minutes from the moment it starts to boil, after that time, remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Filter and is ready for use.
